SOMETIMES LOVE ISN'T ENOUGH

Time and time again we give our hearts to people. Time and time again those people will break our hearts. I know that when you give your heart you are taking a risk, but what if you don't have a choice. What do you do when it's your family that continues to break your heart over and over again. It's a feeling of hurt that is unrepairable because it's a feeling of betrayal that comes along with the heartache because you don't expect your family to cause you such pain and suffering. I think family can hurt you the most because your guards are down and you expect so much more from them and you also expect them to shield you from such pain and suffering not inflict it. Sometimes the love you have for your family isn't enough. Sometimes your family can take it too far because they think that you will always forgive them or be there for them because they are your family but that is not true. When you spend so much time and energy trying to be a good brother, sister, cousin, auntie, uncle, grandma, grandad, mom, dad, husband or wife yet you continue to get rejected or hurt, especially by the same person it really takes a toll on your relationship that love starts to fade. So please keep in mind that your family will not always be there for you especially if you do not treat them right because sometimes love just isn't enough.  -SunShyne B.
